Promise, Process, Purpose

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Praise God! Let me start by saying that there is nothing you can do to gain such an inescapable purpose, because it is Him who has called you. There is no qualification, there is no corporal form of legacy, and there is no monetary value that will place you in the hands of God. Above all else, it is by your love towards Him- and your love alone. When you have a profound love for God, this scripture will serve as a reminder that any form of travail that may try and form up against will not prosper in its destruction but that it will work for your good. Why, because you love Him.

Many times it is in the time of struggle that we will question God about our circumstances and in that time, we must be reminded of what God has promised. He promised a purpose to whom He has called and He has promised that if you love him, all of your trial and tribulations will work for your good. It is in the trials and tribulations, when we are being taken through the chastening process that will prepare us for our purpose. When I began my journey with God in 2011, I encountered various forms of afflictions- from my family hurting me to my daughter’s father walking out of our lives. Yet, it was in my afflictions that God showed me myself. It was good that I was afflicted as I grew stronger in my faith and grew weaker in my fear.

I say all of this to say, let the process change you into the person that God needs you to be in order to walk into your purpose. Believe that good will come of every effort of destruction that may attempt to destroy you and watch God provide His evidence. If you love God and He loves you, then you have to trust the will that He has placed on your life. Stop crying about your circumstances and start looking at it as a process to perfection and overcome it by the grace of God. So many people want God to cultivate their lives, yet their unyielding. You must yield to your Father’s request to start your journey with Him and trust that He will pull you through to the very end.

God is calling you to be wiser now than ever before, because it is in your wisdom that you will better discern His steps as you go farther and farther toward your purpose. He has given you a promise. He is taking you through the process. He will equip you with everything you need for your purpose. You are A Walking Testament. God bless you!

Be Inspired.
