Your Destiny Is In the Fire

“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” (James 1: 12).

What a powerful proclamation this is! I am so encouraged to share this message with anyone who is in the midst of a trial and is wondering where God is or why hasn’t God revealed Himself in the situation you are in. First, let me tell you that God loves you. Second, the Lord is molding you in the current circumstance that you are in. And third, God wants deliverance for you in order to allow you to enter into the next level of your life.

BUT, you must understand that your destiny lies in the midst of your circumstance.

God provided me with a wonderful word that I want to share with you. God said that the things that He has taken you through will not be wasted. He said that He has been molding you from the time that He created you in your mother’s wound. He didn’t want to see you cry. He didn’t want to see you hurt. However, those people had to walk out of your life. You had to be a misfit. You had to become a single parent. You had to lose your house. You had to drop out. You had to get a divorce. You had to, because God was preparing you for what you are about to do. God has called you for a specific purpose and now it is time to fulfill it. Just one more test. Just one for trial. And if you know that God delivered you from everything else you have overcome, why now do you question His availability? God said that He needed you to suffer so that you may give Him the glory. God said He needed you to suffer so that you could tell somebody else how to overcome. God said that He needed YOU! Because you are an OVERCOMER!

What a glory and honor it is to be called by God.

You are called amongst the great sufferers. Noah suffered the rain 40 days and 40 nights (Genesis 7:4). Israel ate Manna for 40 years (Exodus 16:35). Moses was with God on the mount for 40 days (Exodus 24:18). Job suffered the loss of his friends & family, even his health (Job 13: 23-24). David suffered over 7 years after being anointed King and being chosen by God (Psalm 142: 1-2). The list goes on and on. It is a privilege to suffer in God’s name. It is in the midst of suffering that you will grow closer to God and your faith will increase. Although these men suffered, they all had one thing in common – they remained steadfast on God.

It is my prayer that every trial will elevate your faith and strength to carry on to the next level of your life; that no trial will break you, but make you better with the intent to tell your testimony. I pray you are encouraged to remain steadfast in God and prayerful in the midst of your trial. You are a testament that God’s will be done.

Be inspired.
