“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith” (1 Peter 5:8-9).

Today, you may be going through something that you don’t understand. You may understand that there is a battle. Yet, your seven senses are limited by the lack of discernibility to win the battle. Well I am here to share with you that you are under a spiritual attack. This is not to say that victory is impossible, but to advise that it can only be won in the spiritual realm through prayer and supplication.

It is my pleasure to share with you the significance of spiritual warfare as your level of attack will reflect the potential for your level of advancement. See, the Lord your God is equipping you for a level of faith that can only be obtained on the battlefield. For believers who understand the word, the battles of spiritual warfare should be seen as nothing more than deviations that are being used to throw us off of the course towards our destiny. Therefore, we all should delight in the season of attack as the victory is ours through faith in Christ Jesus.

Now, I recognize that this may be easier said than done. I have been a single mother for 6 years. I know how homelessness can appear to be a physical attack of personal development. I know how a sexual attack can damper the self-esteem of an abandoned woman. I know how educational challenges can deter the motivation of minorities. I know that you have prayed and prayed and saw no change. I know that you have been working and taking care of your child and nothing has let up just yet.

If I can share nothing else with you, I share with you MY FAITH. My faith to carry on. My faith in the belief that we all came here to triumph over the enemy. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things not yet seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Right? Why don’t you begin to walk in the word of God? Believe that you can do all things through Christ. Believe that no weapon that is formed up against you shall prosper. Declare that you are victorious in this battle. As you begin to walk in faith, speak it over your life. Speak it over your circumstances. Rebuke the attack of the enemy and declare your victory through faith. Talk the Faith Talk and Walk the Faith Walk. It will WIN the battle every time.

Be inspired.
